Step-by-Step Exam Process:

If you have ANY chronic medical conditions, we highly recommend you schedule a consultation prior to an actual FAA medical exam with us. Click on our Medical Questions page for more info.  To schedule a consultation  go to our Services & Bookings page and select "consultation". This can be done virutally OR in-person. 

Click on Services & Booking. Then click on the exam or service you are interested in.  Book an appointment in an available date/time slot convenient for you. Pay for your appointment via credit card. You will receive an email and text message confirmation. 

Log in (or create an account) on the FAA's MedXpress system. Complete the 8500-8 form online. Make sure your name is spelled correctly and is the same as your government photo ID & your pilot license. 

1. Bring your MedXpress confirmation number to the exam appointment.
2. Bring a VALID Government photo ID. Minors can use a combination of a govt ID without a photo (ex: SS card) PLUS any photo ID (student ID).
3. Bring any relevant medical documents.
4. Bring any needed glasses (reading or distance)
5. Be prepared to provide a urine sample (medical testing only. NOT a urine drug screen). 
6. Arrive at least 5 minutes early.
7. We are located at Fitchburg Airport inside the main terminal building.
