All patients should bring their MedXpress confirmation number and supporting medical documents for their health diagnosis, if applicable. To obtain a MedXpress confirmation number, you must complete your 8500-8 form on the MedXpress website. 

If applicable, patients should also bring glasses/contact lenses, FAA Special Issuances, and Statements of Demonstrated Ability

As of January 1, 2025 any pilot who has NOT had a medical exam in the past will need to pass 1 of the 3 approved color vision tests.  We offer the Waggoner test. You can take this test in my office (FREE for all medical exams) or bring proof that you passed one of the approved FAA tests. If you have passed an FAA color vision test prior to January 1, 2025 you do NOT have to take the new color vision test. 

If you need the color vision test but NOT a medical exam, the charge is $45.

Absolutely! We will coordinate with the Regional Flight Surgeon and Oklahoma City to help you get an SI.

Yes, you have 10 days to gather the necessary medical documentation before your medical exam is automatically submitted to the FAA.

At New England Flight Medicine, we ensure that every patient undergoes a comprehensive medical examination adhering to FAA guidelines. As a dedicated advocate for pilots, particularly as a PPL student myself, I prioritize facilitating the continuation of aviation activities. In instances where a patient does not meet the required medical standards, I will defer the examination to the FAA Medical Team for thorough evaluation and guidance.

A female medical professional CAN be present for all female visits, however, patients will be examined by Dr. Jen Kin. Please select "Female Chaperone" when booking online. 

No, we only offer Class 2 and Class 3 FAA medical exams.

We accept  Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cash, check, or bitcoin. You will be billed for full payment if you cancell less than 24 hours prior to your appointment.
